10 Questions

Here's something fun for you to do, if you'd like to waste time, keep me informed, or avoid work. I came up with 10 questions. I'll answer them, and I like it if you'd reply with your awswers. Even if you don't, here are the questions:

1. Where was the last place you went out to eat?
I think that the last place that I went was Wig and Pen Pizza, a pizza place in Ankeny. We went there to celebrate after State Large group speech. It was ok. The conversation was the best part. Speech people are the best!

2. What is your favorite item(to bring or to eat) at/for potlucks?
I would have to say that mine is cheesy potatos or Jello. I also end up fighting for the deviled eggs.

3. What was the last book you read and did you enjoy it?
The last book I read completely was Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. I enjoyed it immensly, and it was much more gripping than I ever thought it would be. The last book I read on my own was The Help, but I didn't finish it because half way through, I watched the movie. Bad idea, but fantastic book!

4. If you had a vacation right now, where would you go and why?
I would head to Europe, because I could travel around and visit as many countries as possible. I could even practice my spanish in Spain! Denmark would be neat, as well as, well, all of the other countries!

5. What is your proudest accomplishment this month?
I get to go to state with my expository speech for Individual speech. It's in Ames, so it's close!
I also got my actual driver's liscense, either at the beginning of February or the end of January! Woohoo! I've been driving all over!

6. What is your favorite television series?
Mine are Bones and Psych. Bones is about a forensic anthropoligist, and its kind of gorey at times, and Psych is about a guy who works for the LAPD, claiming to be psycic. In reality, his dad just taught him really good observation skill. Psych is much more lighthearted, but both shows are funny!

7. Is there a food that you absolutely hate? What is it?
There are few foods that I really refuse to eat. I don't like getting a dish that I think isn't spicy, but then finding out it is the hard way. I can't stand spicy food!

8. Where is the farthest you have travelled?
I travelled to Wyoming in 3rd grade. I've also gone to Texas twice, and to Ohio once. Yeah, not very far. :/

9. Do you run/walk outside?
I don't right now, but I will as soon as it's nice enough. I fit into the prom dress last year, and that isn't gonna change!

10. Right now, what are you most looking forward to?
I am excited to be done with my NHD project on Wednesday, to go skating and hang out with Eliza on Saturday, and State Speech contest on the 10th!

  1. 1. Where was the last place where you went out to eat?
Subway. Our nieghbors took us out for breakfast. Tried Stu’s “every time I’m there” footlong recipe.. surprisingly good for having like no sauce and lots of veggies.

    2. What’s your favorite item to bring or eat at a potluck?
Mr. Knittel’s cheesy potato soup. Mac and cheese. Some sort of luscious dessert. But as for myself bringing things, I more graze than contribute. Evil?

    3. What was the last book you read and did you enjoy it?
C.S. Lewis’s The Case of Christianity and YES I DID!! Oh wow. Just shows how philosophically and logically LEGIT being a Christian is. He’s so smart and witty and good at explaining things.

    4. If you had a vacation now, where would you go and why?

Boston! I’d go to a lighthouse, their equivalent of Living History Farms (HUGE and colonial), all the historical places, seafood.. .oh drool.

    5. What is your proudest accomplishment this month?
I’ve written a lot of news I’m proud of. Maybe my blog post on Jim Caviezel? Or sucking it up and getting my ears pierced?

    6. 6. What is your favorite television series? Monk. Nummy. But it’s over!!!!!!!!! *Sobs and gets hysterical*

    7. 7. Is there a food that you absolutely hate? What is it? Okra. It has hair. And slimy. And seedy. But in a gumbo drowning in other flavors I’d choke it down.

    8. 8. Where is the farthest you have travelled? Central America.

    9. 8. Where is the farthest you have travelled? I walk more than most teenagers. With me iPod.

    10. Right now, what are you most looking forward to? France or NWC. Every day :)
