Tonight, since I was back from Jefferson, I got in on the last night of VBS. The theme this year revolved around firefighters, but I couldn't tell you much more because I missed the first three nights and tonight I was on game crew. We didn't actually play games. A fire truck came and the firefighters talked to the kids and showed them some gear. Everyone loved it! Evan was really excited when he was chosen to try on the firefighter gear.
As the final event of the evening, the kids sang in a program, followed by ice cream and cookies outside. It was a great time and I'm glad I got to be a part of it!
